heat
A form of energy produced when the molecules and atoms of which bodies consist start to move due to increased temperature; thermal energy: the term derives from the immediate tactile sensation. In the past, it referred to an entity which was believed to pass between bodies in response to temperature differences
high pressure laminates
Synthetic products consisting of layered sheets, impregnated with thermoset resins, now very widely used. They offer excellent water-resistance, stability and resistance to knocks and to substances in general. There is virtually no limit to the surface effects: from mat to gloss to orange peel, screen-printing, etc.
