Alcohol
1 (chem.) organic compound with a molecule containing one or more hydroxyl ions, each bonded to a saturated carbon atom. In common usage, ethyl alcohol.
Aluminium
A silvery grey metal element which is ductile, malleable and very lightweight: it is therefore widely used by furniture producers because it is light and strong. It is used to make edges, profiles, shelves, storage units and handles. To give it resistance to scratches and corrosion, it is treated by anodisation.
