CUSTOMISE YOUR HOLIDAY HOME

Have you booked a flat by the sea or in the mountains for your summer holidays? Whilst awaiting a very welcome break, why not take a whimsical look at the choice of accessories to make the house that will become your home for these days of complete relaxation with family or friends that bit more welcoming.

Before choosing, you need to consider the space available in the suitcase or car for more demanding choices (which, to be honest, are probably not actually recommended, given that we are dealing with a holiday here!).

Fabrics are light, easy to pack and decorate the various rooms of the house, from the windows to the sofas and armchairs. There are plenty of different colours and textures available – simply decide which give you a pleasantly relaxing sensation with just a hint of the capricious. Match with beautifully soft multipurpose cushions.

And if you love to have matching sets, why not dress the table with tablecloths, American style breakfast mats and matching napkins? And for those of you who already know that you simply will not be donning those washing up gloves while on holiday, choose from disposable, eco-chic recycled paper and plastic dishes, cups and cutlery.

For a softer exit from the shower, or to position under the kitchen sink, mats and practical rugs are the perfect solution. Your wife, husband, children and flatmates will thank you for this gesture of cleanliness and altruism.
Once back home, you will be able to reuse it all to furnish your home, enhancing it all year round with the sweet suggestion of holidays, sunshine and the sea.
