Digital catalogues and pdfs of the top kitchens and appliances.
A collection of music to listen to while surfing or cooking. Music for cooking, listening or just relaxing.
We have often said it: the kitchen is the most "alive" room in the house and also the one that must meet specific demands in terms of hygiene and practicality.
This week we have chosen four different solutions (equipment, furniture, electrical appliances and accessories) to help with cleaning and ensure a carefree life!
1. Built-in kitchen sinks, flush and under worktop: less possibility for dirt
These solutions result in no overhangs (built-in flush) or positioning beneath the level of the worktop (built-in under worktop). They therefore allow far less dirt to accumulate, and any dirt that does form is much easier to remove. Particularly in the second case the sink is fixed under the worktop, meaning complete continuity and no overhangs. Dirt, dust and scraps of food can be removed by simply wiping them straight into the sink.
The photograph on the right shows the built-in, under worktop, Franke model.
2. Suspended furniture: makes cleaning easier
Suspended furniture is a solution that enables the floor underneath to be reached easily.
They are elements that can be matched with the kitchen (like in the composition of the Tribe model by Scavolini on the right) or which can also feature in the living room.
In the example on the right, the part below the furniture is left completely free, making cleaning easier.
3. Quartz: resistant to daily marks
Quartz is a compound whose main characteristic is its hardness and specific resistance to marks.
It is very easy to keep hygienic by simply cleaning daily with a damp sponge. To remove marks (e.g. fat, ink or wax), you can use a specific product.
4. Induction hob: easy to clean
In the most innovative induction hobs the cooking area heats up only if in contact with the saucepan, thereby avoiding any possibility of it being accidentally switched on (The photograph on the right shows the concept applied to the Candy hob).
The heat is concentrated on the pan base, whilst the rest of the hob remains cold, with no risk of burns and a clear advantage in terms of cleaning. The surface remains cold and smooth (this hob does not have grilles), making for easy cleaning with an ordinary sponge even during cooking.
The kitchen in photographs 2, 3 and 4 is Tribe by Scavolini.
